What is Supported Housing?
Ending homelessness requires providing homes, however, providing homes alone will not end all forms of homelessness. Providing support to maintain that home and help address the causes and effects of homelessness are also necessary.
Providing housing with support for those experiencing homelessness is not just effective in ending a cycle of homelessness it is also cost-effective when compared to emergency or congregated shelter accommodation which are both costly and ineffective.

TUSLA - Child and Family Agency works in partnership with Sophia to protect the wellbeing of children and families. We work with children and families directly affected by homelessness and those at risk of homelessness. In many cases homelessness is symptomatic of many other issues which Sophia’s services address using care plans and key workers.
