Sr. Helena O’Donoghue is a Mercy Sister and is a board member of several non profit boardss. She is engaged with transition matters in healthcare, education and in services for people affected by homelessness. 

 

Sr. Helena O’Donoghue is a Mercy Sister of the South Central Province of The Congregation in Ireland. A former secondary school teacher and principal, she has worked in community development, retreat work, spirituality, and has written widely on religious topics. She served in Leadership at Congregational and Provincial levels (1985 -2007) and was President of CORI (Conference of Religious in Ireland) from 1999-2002. She was engaged in significant modern re-organisation of community life, of Schools and Hospitals and was closely involved in the review of former industrial schools. Currently she is engaged with transition matters in healthcare and education, in services for people affected by homelessness, and in spirituality work. She is a member of several not-for-profit Boards.
