Churchtown Project

Sophia operates a small project in Churchtown (through Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council). The Churchtown Project consists of a three storey, nineteenth century detached house, named Camberley House. There are 6 apartments for both families and single people. Referrals come from Dun laoighaire Rathdown County Council’s Housing Welfare Team. The team consists of a project leader and a support worker. Support staff are present Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each tenant has a keyworker and a holistic care plan is done for all tenants. Practical support is also offered in a range of areas such as home management, budgeting, shopping and cooking.
