The Sophia logo was designed by Frances Keegan and is based an original design.
Our Logo
The meaning behind the logo is also very true to the original. The house is simple in its design and is not quite finished as the house does not belong to anyone in particular. People will find their own space and make the house into a home.
There is smoke coming from the chimney symbolising the life and warmth to be found inside the house. A path leads to and from the house showing that people may come and go and that Sophia is not an end in itself. The smoke and the path also form a circle around the house embracing those that reside within. This gives a sense of safety and security about the place.
We hope that all persons who come into contact with Sophia will see this symbol at the heart of what we do in our organisation.
